Kaupr Daily — Wednesday 22 July - Special Edition

A quick note before we get into it: today's Kaupr Daily is a special edition. We've spent the past weeks finishing something we're excited to show you, so instead of the usual roundup, today is entirely dedicated to it. Normal service resumes tomorrow.

Kaupr launches Onchain Pages — a directory of companies moving onchain

Today we're launching Onchain Pages, a new directory of companies that are part of, or actively moving into, the onchain economy — from crypto exchanges and fintech startups to traditional banks and financial institutions. It launches with around 30 companies and will grow continuously from here.

Not just a crypto directory

Onchain Pages isn't limited to crypto-native companies. It also covers players like DNB and Visa — firms that aren't crypto companies at all, but are actively positioning themselves inside the onchain-based financial system now taking shape. The point isn't to catalogue "crypto companies," but to map who is actually building toward this shift, regardless of where they started.

Why a directory, and why now

Mature industries eventually build more than a stream of news coverage — they build registries, databases and reference tools that let people understand who actually exists in a market and what they do. Onchain finance has so far been covered as a series of individual events, without a single place to look up which companies operate where. Onchain Pages is Kaupr's attempt to fill that gap — and the fact that a sector invests in this kind of structured reference infrastructure is itself a signal that the industry expects to last.

Each company in the directory is listed with its category, country or region, and a short description of what it does and how it's relevant in an onchain context.

A deliberately trimmed start

We're not launching with the full directory at once. At launch, the selection is trimmed to around 30 companies, with more added continuously. That's not just a practical limitation — it reflects how we work at Kaupr: openly and iteratively, with visible progress rather than a finished product dropped all at once.

The directory also connects directly to our news coverage: at the top of Onchain Pages, rotating stories are pulled from Kaupr's news archive, limited to articles connected to companies actually listed there. One spot is always reserved for the most recently added company — a small way of making the directory's growth visible over time.

Years in the making

This has been in planning for several years. What made it technically possible now is that companies and articles were recently connected inside our CMS — a quiet infrastructure investment that's now paying off in a directory like this.
