Vision Chain infrastructure – what’s next for Bitpanda’s tokenization stack

Bitpanda is turning Vision Chain, its Ethereum Layer 2 network, into institutional‑grade infrastructure for tokenized assets in Europe, tightly integrated with Vision Protocol and the VSN token.

The roadmap centers on banks and asset managers, with on‑chain KYC, policy controls and euro‑stablecoin fee rails so tokenized equities, funds and other RWAs can be issued and settled 24/7 on Vision Chain.

Why it matters: Vision Chain is Bitpanda’s bid to be core “plumbing” for MiCA‑ready tokenization in the EU, giving institutions a regulated, Europe‑focused alternative to building on generic public chains.

Australia lays groundwork for tokenized asset markets

Australia’s Reserve Bank (RBA) says it will move from pilots to building the legal and market infrastructure needed to support large‑scale tokenized asset markets, following the conclusion of its Project Acacia experiments. Regulators plan a long‑term “digital market infrastructure sandbox” to test tokenized assets, tokenized money and new settlement systems, alongside work with ASIC and AUSTRAC on rules for how tokenized assets are defined, settled and supervised.

Why it matters: The RBA estimates synchronized settlement of tokenized assets and funds could generate around AUD 24 billion in annual efficiency gains, shifting the policy debate from whether tokenization makes sense to how to implement it safely. That stance positions Australia among the more proactive advanced economies in building real‑world, regulated tokenization markets.

STS Digital unveils first-to-market structured products platform

Crypto investment firm STS Digital has launched a structured products platform that packages options strategies on a wide range of altcoins, extending its existing derivatives offering beyond majors like bitcoin and ether. The platform aims to bring tailored, yield‑enhancing and downside‑protected strategies to a broader slice of its token universe, targeting professional and high‑net‑worth clients.

Why it matters: Structured products are moving deeper into the crypto market, giving sophisticated investors traditional‑style payoff profiles on altcoins while raising questions about complexity and risk in less liquid tokens. STS Digital’s move underlines how derivatives and structured solutions are becoming core to digital asset portfolio construction.

Crypto adoption in the Nordics findings

Crypto still more important than stocks among young Norwegians

New survey data from K33 shows that more young Norwegians (39 and under) own crypto than stocks, confirming that digital assets remain their preferred way to invest even as equity ownership rises. The gap has persisted since 2022, with young crypto investors also trading more actively and focusing more on short‑term moves than long‑term stock‑savers.

Why it matters: The numbers underline a clear generational divide in Norway’s investment landscape, where crypto is now a core part of how younger adults build and manage savings. That strengthens the case for local banks, brokers and regulators to treat crypto as mainstream retail finance for the next generation, not a niche side bet.

Nordic crypto adoption rises for the second year in a row – 2.5 million adults now own cryptocurrency

New survey data shows that around 2.5 million adults in the Nordics now own crypto, marking the second consecutive year of growth and taking ownership to roughly one in ten adults across the region. Ownership is still highest among younger age groups, but adoption is now rising across older cohorts as well.

Why it matters: Crypto has moved from a niche to a structural part of the Nordic savings and investment landscape, with a clear pipeline of future adopters on top of today’s 2.5 million owners. That puts pressure on banks, regulators and policymakers to treat digital assets as a long‑term feature of Nordic capital markets, not a passing cycle.
